The bed of the machine is a rigid, welded structure, frame type. Circular saws are located on the spindle driven by a direct transmission of an electric motor, which provides an increase in power during operation in comparison with the V-belt drive. The saw shaft has a thrust bearing. For sawing use circular saws with a diameter of 350 to 450 mm with a fit of 75 mm having two keyways. The feeder consists of four drive rolls. The lifting mechanism of the upper rollers consists of two levers connected by a common burden. The feed drive consists of an electric motor, a belt drive, a gearbox and a chain drive.

The machine is a sheet metal bed on which the drive, saw unit and feed drive are mounted. The required distance between the circular saws is set by special spacers (spacers). The machine has a two-row claw curtain with upper and lower claw curtains. The movement of the logs is carried out by driven heels, which ensures high accuracy of the workpiece movement and straightness of the stroke. The MIG-1000 multi-rim trimmer is designed for the longitudinal sawing of unedged boards and slabs for the purpose of obtaining edged sawn timber (edged boards, slats, bars, three-slab). The billet is pulled automatically by the heavy, driven ryabuhs located at the entrance and exit of the machine. The side trimming multi-saw machine is equipped with a claw protection to prevent reverse feed at the entrance and to ensure safety when sawing by raising the protection. Circular saws are located on the spindle driven by a V-belt transmission by an electric motor.
