EUROPAGES SA, a limited liability company operating under French law with a share capital of 2 800,000 Euros, registered at Nanterre, no. B338 631 930, whose registered address is 127 avenue Charles de Gaulle, Neuilly-sur-Seine 92200 (hereinafter referred to as EUROPAGES), is the publisher of the www.europages.com site and all its translated versions (hereinafter referred to as the Europages Site).
II. DECLARATION TO THE FRENCH NATIONAL COMMISSION ON COMPUTING AND LIBERTY (CNIL) In accordance with the law on computing and liberty, the processing of personal data on the Europages Site has been declared to the CNIL under the registration number 718289. К началу ![]() III. COLLECTION OF PRIVATE DATA When navigating on the Europages Site, certain private data is created automatically. This electronic identification data includes:
data entered into the online forms; data entered when sending a page to a friend; data collected when using the Call Button; data relating to an order placed in the Shop; bank details provided for an online purchase; data featuring on an online estimate request; data entered so as to receive an alert; data forwarded during online surveys; etc. IV. USE OF PRIVATE DATA EUROPAGES hereby undertakes to process the private data it collects on the Europages Site for the following purposes only: the overall functioning of the Europages Site; the functioning of services for registered or subscribing Users; the collection and forwarding of administrative information; the collation of statistics on traffic, use and surveys; the participation in games or tests; the receipt of and response to suggestions or requests for information; the organisation of exchanges of offers; the security of information transfer; the organisation of canvassing or marketing operations, notably to inform the User of offers relating to the products and/or services of the Europages Site; etc. V. DURATION OF STORAGE OF DATA EUROPAGES stores personal data for: three (3) years for connection data (for purely statistical purposes); for one (1) year for data provided voluntarily following the last connection by the User to the Europages Site, or when the User has not responded to two successive requests; the duration of the registration for a registered or subscribing User, extended by a period of twenty (20) working days from the request to delete the registration. Bank details (credit card number and cryptogram) are destroyed as soon as the order has been delivered or refused. VI. USER'S RIGHT OF ACCESS, RECTIFICATION AND DELETION. Users of the Europages Site who have voluntarily provided private data may exercise free of charge their rights of access, rectification and deletion on addressing a request to EUROPAGES. Registered or subscribing Users shall have the right of access online to all of their private data that has been collected. At any moment, they are able to access and rectify themselves the information they have provided on registration or subscription through My Account. To do so, they must click on "Update my profile". They may also delete data by clicking on "Unsubscribe". COOKIES VIII.1 Configuration of cookies Users may choose to accept or refuse cookies by modifying the parameters of their navigators. They may configure their navigators so that they may refuse all cookies or be warned before accepting cookies. Should they decide not to accept such cookies, their navigation on the Europages Site may be slower and of inferior quality; this may hamper certain functions. VIII.2 Temporary cookies stored by Europages The Europages server only stores temporary cookies on the computer of the registered User. These cookies register a number generated internally and at random, thus making it possible, during a session, to identify the registered Users and the information relating to their navigation, they pages they have consulted and the date and time of the consultation. These temporary cookies are deleted from the Users' hard disks as soon as the navigator is closed. The data featuring in the cookies are rendered anonymous, then a copy thereof is stored on the Europages server. These cookies are indispensable for the provision of the requested services, as they enable the User to access all the functionalities available on the Europages Site. Furthermore, they enable EUROPAGES to improve its range of products and services by making it possible to identify, for example, the most frequently visited pages. IX. RIGTHS OF COMPANIES ON THE FREE LISTING IN THE DIRECTORY A company whose details are on the free listing in the Directory has the right to access, to rectify and to delete such details. It may also object to the inclusion of its details in the Directory. In all such cases, a representative of the company must make its wishes known to EUROPAGES, specifying the nature of the request by email at the following address: administration@europages.com by fax on: 33 (0)1 41 16 49 50 ; by post at the following address: EUROPAGES SA. Administration - 127, Avenue Charles de Gaulle 92200 - Neuilly sur Seine - France EUROPAGES strives to respond to any request with four (4) weeks. X. DISCLOSURE OF PRIVATE DATA TO THIRD PARTIES. EUROPAGES does not sell, rent or market the private data it collects on the Europages Site. EUROPAGES reserves the right to disclose the private data it collects in accordance with the law. EUROPAGES may forward certain private data to trustworthy subcontractors or partners in order to provide certain functionalities of the Europages Site. EUROPAGES may forward to its commercial partners requests for information relating to the inclusion of an Ad in the Directory. In such cases, the private data forwarded by the Users of the Europages Site shall be processed in order to respond to the request for information. This process shall not exclude the presentation of additional new proposals, new products and/or new services. XI. CO-BRANDING When EUROPAGES incorporates and posts the contents of the sites of selected partners so as to provide products and services relevant to the visitors to the Europages Site as part of the Business Resources service, the partners' servers may collect private data when using the Business Resources. When a partner incorporates and posts on the pages of its Internet site the contents of the Directory as part of a co-branding operation, the partner's server may collect private data when using the co-branded pages. In neither of these cases does EUROPAGES private data protection policy apply. XII. SECURITY OF PRIVATE DATA EUROPAGES uses several types of technology to ensure the security and confidentiality of the private data recorded on its servers. All data relating to its Users is processed on servers protected against external intrusion by firewalls. Strict rules on monitoring access are applied so as to prevent unauthorised access, the loss, improper use or modification of the private data stored. Furthermore, certain private data is only transmitted during secured sessions. Such sessions currently use the SSL standard. EUROPAGES ensures that only its staff requiring certain information to provide the service requested by the User may gain access to its Users' private data. XIII. Jurisdiction In the event of major difficulty or dispute between the User and EUROPAGES, the Parties hereto hereby agree to seek an amicable settlement. Should this fail, any such dispute shall be submitted to the Nanterre Commercial Court. The present Conditions of Use shall be subject to French law.
